We want to create a community which supports our team - not only with money but also with ideas and proposals to improve our products.

Risks & Challenges

 

• Not achieving the funding goal

If the element1 cannot be realized, the people have to get back their perk.

Of course we don’t want this case to become reality so we advertise our smartwatch on our social media channels, different blogs and other lines of communication.

 

• Engineering

  • Technics: ready for production

  • Software: Until the delivery we still work on the user friendliness. We want to optimize it and therefore we also need the suggestions of the customers.

 

At the moment the smartwatch is already compatible with iOS and Android, but we are still working on the compatibility to Windows phone. We try to update the software until the first delivery.

By the way, updates are for free, of course.

• Production: We choose our suppliers very conscious, so we don’t see any problems at this point.

 

• Shipment: To ensure an optimal delivery service, we have two distribution center. For Latin America and North America we have one in the USA. The second one for the European distribution is expected to be in the Netherlands.

Will the software of the element1 support other languages than English?

Yes. You will be able to choose in Release 1.0 between the languages English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese and Japanese.

More languages will follow later.

 

Does the element1 has bluetooth?

Yes. The element1 will be able to connect with other equipment.

 

Which material will the packaging be of?

In order to protect the environment we use recyclable materials. The packaging can be used as cereal bowl afterwards.             

 

Does the element1 has integrated speakers?

Yes, of course.

 

Which extent has the element1?

The element1 has a size of 1.69in / 43mm.

More sizes are planned for the future.

 

Will you give information if there are any updates for the software?

Yes! We want to improve our software within the time so we will let you know about any updates.

 

Can I get the updates for free?

Yes, of course.

 

Are there different versions of the element1?

Yes, the polycarbonate and the steel version.

 

Will you sell the element1 in different colors?

First the element1 will be available in the colors black currant (black), apple green (green), blueberry lime (turquoise) and lichee (white).

The community will be able to vote for more colours!

 

Which connection has the element1?

Mini USB.

 

What is the element1 compatible with?

With iOS, Android System and Windows Phone.

 

Can I talk to the element1?

Yes, of course, but we don’t know if it will answer.

Joke! It is possible to make a phone call with the smartwatch and the integrated loudspeakers.

 

Is the smartwatch water-resistant?

Yes, it is. You can wear it while having a shower. But you should not wear for a longer period under water or for diving.

 

How can I use the music player?

There are two options. You connect your element1 with your smartphone and access to the stored music. Or you don’t connect it and use the integrated 2 GB memory.

 

Are there different kinds of packages to order?

Yes. You can choose between the standard element1 and the Kickstarter Special. The Special includes the upgrade for the kinetic battery.

 

How is the element1 charged?

It is charged with a charging cradle with USB.

 

Does the element1 come with different watch faces?

With a special app you can change your faces or design one by yourself.

 

Is it possible to change the battery?

The battery can be changed modular.

 

How does the element1 secure my data?

The safety of your data is very important. You will have a secure connection between smartwatch and smartphone.

 

Which gadgets will follow?

Different wristbands, a charging station, an adapter and earphones will follow in our shop.

Will you include the proper power plugs which are specific for my country?

That’s not necessary because we charge over charging cradle with USB.

 

When will you ship the first element1?

The first ones of the polycarbonate and steel version are expected to be send at the end of January 2016 within the USA and to Germany. Afterwards other destinations will follow.

 

Which payment method is accepted?

Please note the conditions of payment of Kickstarter.

 

Could there be any price changings?

No. The price is already set and we won’t change it.

 

Can I track my shipment?

Yes, of course. We want to ensure a secure delivery, so you will get a tracking number when the element1 is underway.

 

Can my package be sended without taxes?

No. The delivery will always be sended with the tax regulations of each country.

 

Can I change the quantity of my reward?

Yes, you have to choose a new perk.

 

Is there any warranty for the element1?

Of course. The legal regulations of each country are valid.

 

Which countries do you deliver?

We deliver international.

 

 

Will you save my address and personal data and will others be able to get this information?

Yes your data will be saved for the order. But your data will be saved according to the regulations and won’t be given to others or sold.

 

Where can I buy the element1?

Currently only about Kickstarter and later through the online shop on our website.

 

When will I be able to buy it?

Right now on Kickstarter. Later, through the online shop.
